The vision of Westside School of Ministry is to equip faithful men for ministry in the local church, as evangelists, pastors, teachers, deacons and leaders.
“And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:” Ephesians 4:11-12
The school of ministry is a three-year course of study with a 10-month academic year from September to June.
Tuesdays 6:00 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Tutorials throughout the week.
Our Foundations Courses are designed to equip men for the serious study of the New Testament, Old Testament, and Systematic Theology. We will focus on one of these three areas each year.
We are committed to rigorous training in the original languages. We do this through a combination of online courses taught by Bible Mesh and small group tutorials.
Our Pastorology courses cover a wide variety of subjects including expository preaching, teaching methods, church polity, leadership, administration, Biblical counseling, and the pastor’s family.
Reading for Rounding
This fourth component of our curriculum involves the guided reading from a range of sources with the purpose of producing men who are both well rounded and thoroughly grounded.
