Outreach

The heartbeat of our ministry is to seek and to save that which was lost and to help those who are hurting find answers in Jesus Christ. We reach out to our community and the world through several avenues.

Monthly Neighborhood Saturation
The first Saturday of each month is dedicated to reaching out to our neighbors with a friendly gospel witness and invitation to our church. We go to those who may not know that life can be filled with meaning and purpose, and we help them find real answers to questions like, “why am I here,” “where did I come from” and “where am I going”? Through a simple neighborhood outreach we hope to share God’s power to change the eternal destiny of those we meet.

Nursing Home Ministry
For those in nursing homes who aren’t able to come to us for Sunday services, we go to them. Every second and fourth Sunday afternoon we go out to local nursing homes and share the love of Christ through songs, prayer and a short challenge from God’s word. Our folks of all ages have themselves been encouraged as they show these dear people that we care, and most importantly, that God cares about them and hasn’t forgotten them.

World Missions
We are blessed in the United States with many opportunities to encounter the truth of the gospel through the word of God. But this isn’t true in other parts of the world. The vast majority of the world’s population has never seen a bible or even heard the name Jesus Christ. Through our world missions program we support men and women who go to the uttermost parts of the earth to share the good news of salvation.  By God’s grace we were able to give over $150,000 in 2008 to Missions projects both here in the USA and around the globe. With these funds we were able to help plant churches, clothe orphaned children, and give foreign language Bibles to give to people in the regions beyond.

Bus Transportation
