Doug Heilman Family

Doug Heilman has spent his entire life in around the Navy.  Born at Naval Hospital, Bethesda as the son of a career Naval Petty Officer, he himself became a career Naval Officer serving as a Healthcare Administrator for twenty years.  He holds both a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Human Resources from Southern Illinois University and Chapman University respectively.  Doug and his wonderful wife Linda Diane were both saved in the early seventies and together they have four children and seven grandchildren.

In July 2007, Doug and Linda surrendered to a ministry of constructing Independent Baptist Church Buildings throughout the United States with the Cornerstone Baptist Builders.  The Lord’s call came through a series of messages throughout that spring focusing on service to the Lord in your retirement years coupled with working with the Cornerstone Baptist Builders on a project at our home church.  After much preparation and leading from the Lord, Doug was commissioned for full time service in March 2009.
